Daphne Technology's Puremetrics needed a system to precisely monitor and visualize emissions from their customers' shipping fleets, ensuring compliance with international environmental standards and enhancing operational efficiency.

Description

Solution:

We developed Puremetrics,a robust emissions monitoring system that captures exhaust gas data from shipping vessels, both before and after passing through air cleaning devices. The system collects data every 5 seconds directly from onboard sensors and a device running our software, which is then transmitted to a cloud-based data processing pipeline.

Key Features:

  • Real-Time Data Collection: High-frequency data ingestion (every 5 seconds) ensures detailed and timely emissions monitoring.
  • Advanced Analytics: Every 15 seconds, our system computes vital metrics from the raw data to provide insights into emissions levels, power output, and fuel consumption.
  • Cloud-Based Processing: Data is securely transmitted to our cloud infrastructure, where it undergoes processing and analysis, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Interactive Emissions Dashboard: This web-based interface allows customers to visually track fleet efficiency over time, monitor emission reduction trends, and evaluate fuel usage and power output.
  • Report Generation: Users can easily generate detailed reports to claim carbon credits, showcasing their commitment to reducing environmental impact.
